Today is a lazy kind of day. I've been feeling a bit tired lately; stave it off all we want, but age will still get to you eventually. Don't worry, though! It's just the seasons changing.

I remember when the kids were younger, dressing them up for Halloween. Things sure do change, don't they?

I cooked with onions this morning (greek salad omelette) and now my eyes are a bit watery. What a lingering smell!!

I'm going to go write a bit and then perhaps have a nap. Maybe some kidlets will show up at the door. Kids are the window to youth again, aren't they?

At any rate, I apologize for being behind on my e-mail. Things have been hectic around the home (renovations!!). You should all know that I greatly appreciate them and try to answer as many as I can. Take care!

I also know what you mean about age. I turned 46 in sept. but at times i fell i am 70. I recently retired as a police officer and that career field was hell on the body. Some mornings when i get up, i have to take a hot shower, put on "Sports Cream" or "Tiger Balm" and take some tylenol. I now work for the defense dept. with mostly 20 somethings year olds. Boy do they make me feel old.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks for your excellent work in films and t.v. I feel that you have brought back the westerns. They seem to have died with john wayne.

Hi Tom,
I hope the brush fires aren't anywhere near your house and your family is OK. I know you had property damage when the brush fires hit in 1994.
Just a concerned fan!
All the best,

Hey Tom ,
Happy Thanksgiving, I hope you had a great day.
Don't feel badly about Halloween.
Here in Miami we were not able to celebrate Halloween because of hurricane Wilma .
Tom ,you are as young as you feel, age has nothing to do with it .
I have more energy than my 21 year old son.
Bye,Happy Holidays!

Hi Tom,

I just found this site early this morning, but didn't have time anymore to join & add something.
I am a big fan of yours & love watching MagnumPI. I've lost count how many times I've watched it since taping it from A&E until they stopped playing it at the
end of 2002. I have all 8 seasons & now that it's out on DVD I have the first 2 so far & I'll be getting the 3rd season when it comes out in January. I also love your westerns.
Anyway, I better go for now,
'Till next time, TomMagGal

Hi Tom - enjoy your work. Never thought Id have the opportunity to "speak" with you.
Have a question - a few yrs back on vaca in Colo, Wyom, and Montana, visited a hat shop in a beautiful town. The manager (seemed very reputable), stated while you were filming a Zane Grey western?, you found this shop and whenever in the area buy your western hats there. I cant find my travel notes for the name of the town. I want to revisit, it was gorgeous. Can you help? Thanks, Brenda

hi tom - I think its great that you are so down to earth - I'd like to ask you a qstn - a few yrs back my family and I vacationed thru Colo, Wyom, and Montana. We stopped at one charming town and bought hats at this wonderful western hat shop. The manager said when you were filming a western you found their shop and now buy your western hats there when possible. Can you tell me the name of the town? I kept travel notes but have moved since then and cant find them. I want to revisit the area, it was so beautiful. Thanks, Brenda

It's kind of hard to believe that this is actually Tom Selleck, but I'm willing to give it a shot. When you were in Vancouver, BC, shooting one of your movies, a local Restaurant ended up naming a Hamburger after you. Can you tell me how this came about? What's the story behind it? I've heard some different versions, and I was wondering if you could clarify it for me.

Mike.

Hey Tom, I enjoyed your premiere last night(Death In Pardise) at the academy... I was the one that asked for your advice on getting into acting.... I've been thinking alot about what you said... "STUDY, that way your overqualified when you go for roles" Thanks man!!! It was a pleasure to meet you and actually shake your hand.. Who knew when I was a kid growing up watching Magnum P.I. that I would actually be able to meet and shake his hand... by the way my name is Joddy Haynes.... Thanks again Tom!!! You were one of my childhood heros...

I am sitting here watching you on Boston Legal. You have changed vary little over the years. I have always been a fan. The one thing I find, that I admire most is you are very honest and have not fallen for all the Hollywood hype. You are a family man and seem to be the kind of person any one would want to know and have as a friend. Thank you for remaining true to youself and keeping a respectable image and role model to many.
One of your greatest fans,
Cindy
