aloha!

so, i've been getting lots of e-mails from you guys! i appreciate them, keep 'em coming.

well, phew. things were going kind of bad with jillie, so i decided to take a solo vacation. i mean, hell, kevin and hannah are out of the house and it was just the two of us. why not! hello hawaii! i spent several months on the beach sipping rum and exploring volcanoes.

It was just what I needed. I feel recharged and reenergized and I'm back in business.

Right now I'm filming a movie for TV with Micheal Fox. It will be great. I'm quite busy with all of this, however, and while I bought one of these laptop things, I doubt I will be around much.

Take it easy!

This is the strangest thing I have ever come across on the net. I can't even believe for one minute that Tom Selleck has the time or inclination to sit here and bless us simple people with the every day happenings in his life. If this is/was him then alot more people then myself would be chomping at the bit to get a word or two from the world's best actor ever. If the opportuninty would come to me...even for just one short minute..to actually communicate with my lifelong idol then I pray that this is that chance...and that Jillie wouldn't mind a little bit of mindless chatter from one of Tom Selleck's biggest fans (not just in the us, but I would have to say in the WHOLE WORLD). Thanks for the moment of temporary insanity this "bolg" caused. At least I felt a temporary connection....

I am kinda like lisa. It's hard to believe it's really tom writing these e-mails. What I am interested in is his riding and ranching skills. I read where he bought the horse he rode in QDU. I wish I had know he was looking for big horses because I haad a mare that he would have looked great on. Just his size for a big guy like him, but I already sold her. I think it's great that some actors can actually. Jillie just looks like she doesn't fit in with his lifestyle. Some how I can imagine her her riding with cattle and getting dirty. Tom if this is really you, I am a real fan and have rodeoed all my life and can relate to the cowboy life. I would love to meet you one day and see if you are really as cool and light hearted as you are on TV and the movies. Even us old ladies (54) still have heroes and fantasies. U am a calf roper by heart and a school teacher on the side and an artist. I love your movies and I think you are a very handsome man. Jillie is lucky

I am kinda ashamed of myself for thinking that you'd like to do a movie of Scarlet. You've fit into so many great characters and I realized that you deserve alot more than peace and quiet. You deserve space and time with your thoughts and actions toward things you're up against now. Not everyone can do the work that you do and get the space you need either from wife or kids or both. Have fun With Micheal. He's been my favorite too. Can't help it if I like the guys from the 70's shows. They don't make shows like Magnuim or what ever that show was that micheal was on anymore. Can you believe it!! It's 77 here in Texas!!!(Great big Smile)

This is even stranger... I'm writing in hopes that Mr. Selleck is actually affiliated with these posts and checks them (being as busy as he must be.)

Years ago my wife Donna worked on the set of Magnum P.I. with Mr. Selleck as an "extra". It's her biggest claim to fame, and one she holds close to her heart. I'm not in any way jealous when she reminisces about her days as the “petite local girl” who got to chat with the “sexiest men on the planet”… ok, maybe just a little jealous.

Anyway, she’s having her 50th birthday in May of 2007 and I was hoping to make her that “happy, petite local girl” from decades back. I’m planning a “Hemi-Centarian” party for her and was hoping that Mr. Selleck would write her a card wishing her a Happy 50th. Of course, I would prefer he and his wife participate in her celebration, but now I feel like I’m really asking for too much.

However, like my Master Chief buddy says, “If you’re going to be a bear, be a Grizzly.”

Tom, is there any chance you’ll be in the Whidbey Island, Washington area in May of 2007? Your presence would turn that sad day when a beautiful woman turns 50, into a wonderful day where she feels she’s the most special, beautiful woman on earth.

All this because of “a husband’s love for his wife.”

Thank you for your time.

Very respectfully,

Lee Bradley
